SAUSD's Budget Receives Positive Budget Certification

    The Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) has certified Santa Ana Unified School District’s (SAUSD) 2024-25 First Interim Budget Report with a positive certification. This designation confirms that the district is prepared to meet its financial obligations for the current and next two fiscal years.

    The OCDE recognized SAUSD’s proactive approach to financial planning, including monitoring enrollment trends and maintaining reserves above state-recommended levels. These measures help ensure the district can navigate challenges such as declining enrollment while continuing to prioritize the educational and operational needs of students, staff, and families.
