During last night's meeting, the SAUSD Board of Education passed a resolution denouncing hate crimes and bigotry targeting Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. SAUSD proudly celebrates the rich diversity and invaluable contributions of our AAPI students, families, and staff, and remains committed to fostering a culture of inclusion, respect, and understanding across our schools. While no Santa Ana Unified School District (SAUSD) campuses have been visited by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), we want to reassure you that our schools remain safe, supportive, and welcoming environments for all students and families—regardless of immigration status.
