Mrs. Sarah Seibert
Even though the 2020-2021 school year will "officially" be my 20th year as a teacher, I have been preparing for a career in education since I was five years old. I was born into a family of educators, with a mother who taught first grade, a father who worked as an elementary school principal, and a grandmother who worked as a school librarian. Since I can remember, I have known that I, too, wanted to pursue a career in teaching when I became an adult.
I have taught at a few schools in the Orange County area during my career, and at various grade levels (from 1st grade to 8th grade), as well as many subjects (such as 5th grade GATE and even Home Economics). However, I can state, without a doubt, that my favorite grade level and school to teach at is definitely DRAMA at Santiago!
When I'm not planning lessons, grading papers, or updating the classroom website, I enjoy spending time with my kids, Liam and Ella, reading new books, going to Disneyland, running on trails in my neighborhood, and walking my dog, Yoda, to the beach.
