Welcome to Art

• Sierra Preparatory Academy offers 5 sections of visual arts to sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students.   
• In addition to developing their own artistic skills, the arts curriculum emphasizes vocabulary development and the reading, writing, and speaking skills that are a critical component for English language learners.  
• In this class, students will create art, will understand the arts, and will value artistic expression.  Through art, they will respect the uniqueness and creativity of themselves and others.
