Message from Our Assistant Principal

Dear King Families,

I am honored to introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal at King Elementary. I am thrilled to be joining such a dedicated and caring school community, and I look forward to working in partnership with you to support our students.

I have worked in education for more than 30 years as a classroom teacher and instructional leader in both Dual Language and SEI settings. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about helping every child feel valued, supported, and inspired to do their best. I believe that strong school-home connections are essential, and I am committed to ensuring that our students not only grow academically, but also thrive socially and emotionally.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my grown daughters, who attended elementary school here in Santa Ana. I am excited to get to know you and your children, and I welcome the chance to connect at school events or even just in passing around campus. Please feel free to stop and say hello—I would love to hear from you.

Together, I know we will make this school year a positive and rewarding experience for all of our students.

Estimadas familias de King:

Me siento honrada de presentarme como la nueva subdirectora de la Escuela Primaria King. Me entusiasma unirme a una comunidad escolar tan dedicada y solidaria, y espero con interés trabajar con ustedes para apoyar a nuestros estudiantes.

He trabajado en el sector educativo durante más de 30 años como docente y líder educativa en entornos de Lenguaje Dual y SEI. A lo largo de mi carrera, me ha apasionado ayudar a cada niño a sentirse valorado, apoyado e inspirado para dar lo mejor de sí. Creo que una sólida conexión entre la escuela y el hogar es esencial, y me comprometo a garantizar que nuestros estudiantes no solo crezcan académicamente, sino que también prosperen social y emocionalmente.

Fuera de la escuela, disfruto pasar tiempo con mis hijas adultas, que asistieron a la escuela primaria aquí en Santa Ana. Me entusiasma conocerlos a ustedes y a sus hijos, y agradezco la oportunidad de conectar en eventos escolares o incluso simplemente al visitar el campus. No duden en pasar a saludarme; me encantaría saber de ustedes.

Juntos, sé que haremos de este año escolar una experiencia positiva y gratificante para todos nuestros estudiantes.
