Mr. Lofink
Born in Santa Ana, Mr. Lofink has enjoyed working for 35 years in the city he calls his first home. He started in 1990 as a Library/Media Technician and opened the schools of Kennedy Elementary and Walker Elementary (now ALA/Circulos). In 1994, he started work as a fifth grade teacher at Garfield Elementary and for the next 16 years enjoyed supporting students and staff. In 2010, he left to become an Education Technology Curriculum Specialist at the District Office. For 15 years, he has supported the Santa Ana Community with the use of technology. In 2025, for his 36th year of service to Santa Ana, Mr. Lofink has returned to the classroom. He is honored to work with the fifth grade students of Advanced Learning Academy.
Mr. Lofink has three sons and one daughter that live in Georgia, Washington and California. Two of his sons are Army veterans. His family goes back 100 years to Santa Ana with his grandmother, father and mother all attending Santa Ana High School. His father and his mother taught in Santa Ana; his father retired after 39 years of service to the district. When they can, Mr. Lofink and his partner enjoy traveling.
