This course combines the content of Medical Back Office/Clinical Assistant levels I and II. In level I students receive instruction in medical ethics, medical terminology, pharmacology, and anatomy, as well practical experience in performing and assisting in basic lab tests, giving injections, EKG exams, sterilization and other medical procedures and techniques. Students completing level I will be placed in community classroom internship which involves supervised experience in a medical office or clinic. A physical exam may be required prior to community classroom. Estimated related costs $70.
