Mrs. Wada (Smith)

Hello, I am Mrs. Wada (Smith) and I am so excited about teaching being our school's Future Ready Coach!  I grew up in the desert of Southern California.  I received my Bachelor's degree in Sociology at California State University at Long Beach (Go Beach!).  From there, I pursued my love of teaching at Chapman University, earning a teaching credential and a Master's degree in teaching.  I was a reading intervention teacher at Washington Elementary before I was hired as a teacher here at Diamond.  This is my 12th year here and I couldn't be happier.  I love technology and am a Google Certified Educator. I look forward to working with teachers, students, and families to as we learn and grow together.

Wada (Smith) y estoy muy emocionada de enseñar y ser la entrenadora Future Ready de nuestra escuela.Crecí en el desierto del sur de California.Recibí mi licenciatura en Sociología en la Universidad Estatal de California en Long Beach (¡Go Beach!).A partir de ahí, seguí mi amor por la enseñanza en la Universidad Chapman, donde obtuve una credencial de enseñanza y una maestría en enseñanza.Fui maestra de intervención de lectura en la primaria Washington antes de que me contrataran como maestra aquí en Diamond.Este es mi duodécimo año aquí y no podría estar más feliz.Me encanta la tecnología y soy educador certificado por Google.
