Welcome to AVID Excel

AVID stands for Advancement via Individual Determination. In this class we focus on the skills and behavior needed to make you a successful student and prepare you for college. The AVID Excel coursework accelerates students’ academic language acquisition and increases their access to the 9th grade AVID Elective and college preparatory courses. Some of the things we will focus on over the year will be:
